Emirates Airlines will increase its flight frequency from the Accra International Airport to Dubai with the addition of four weekly flights beginning July 12, 2026, the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has announced.
The airline currently operates seven flights per week, representing one daily service between Accra and Dubai. The new services, which will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will bring the total number of weekly Emirates flights to 11.
The additional flights are scheduled to arrive in Accra from Dubai at 7:40 am and depart Accra at 10:25 am, arriving in Dubai at 10:40 pm. This provides passengers with greater flexibility by offering both morning and evening travel options.
GACL congratulated Emirates on the expansion, stating that the development reinforces Accra's position as a preferred destination and highlights the conducive operating environment that continues to attract businesses seeking to establish or expand their presence in Ghana.
The expansion, according to the GACL, is a testament to the strong partnership between Emirates and Ghana's aviation sector, as well as the growing demand for air travel through Accra's Kotoka International Airport.
