Fiifi Coleman’s The Dilemma of a Ghost records massive patronage

LAST Saturday, July 29, will go down as one of the happiest moments for actor Fiifi Coleman when he filled the National Theatre with his latest play, The Dilemma of a Ghost.

The play was in honour of the late author Prof. Ama Ata Aidoo who died on May 31, 2023. She was 81.

Prior to the start of the first show play at 4pm, the National Theatre was already parked and Fiifi Coleman tells Graphic Showbiz it was God and the effort of his team who made this happen.

“Although this is not my first play, I must say that patronage for The Dilemma of a Ghost was massive and I am excited for this. There was a first show at 4pm a second one at 8 pm and I was surprised both shows recorded massive turnout.”

“I want to say a big thank you to God almighty and also to my team at Fiifi Coleman Productions and cast for promoting the play on their social media handles,” he said.

The play, originally written by the legendary Ghanaian playwright, Ama Ata Aidoo, tells the story of Ato Yawson, a Ghanaian man who returns home from the United States of America with his American wife, Eulalie.

The couple’s cultural differences cause friction in their marriage, and they must find a way to bridge the gap between their two worlds.
The Dilemma of a Ghost produced by Fiifi Coleman Productions features a star-studded cast of Ghana’s top actors, including Fred Amugi, Fiifi Coleman, Brew Riverson Jr., and Naa Ashorkor.

Some of the plays Fiifi Coleman has to his credit include Women at Work, You Play Me I Play you, Flows For Sale and Still A Rose among others.
He will restage Still A Rose at the National Theatre on November 4 and 5.
