“It is not in doubt that the stage has been set for Ghanaians to witness a significant improvement in their lives,” he said.

Prof. Amuzu, who made the call when he paid a visit to the Daily Graphic in Accra on Friday, commended President Mahama and all Ghanaians for their patience,  maturity and respect for the rule of law in the eight months that the Supreme Court election petition travelled.

He said  the recent election petition,  the judgement and the current peaceful atmosphere in the country had elevated the country to prestigious heights in the eyes of fellow nations and thereby created a conducive environment for investors to troop in to  invest in projects for national development.

Before the August 29, 2013 historic verdict, Prof. Amuzu revealed that the country would remain intact before, during and after the Supreme Court judgement and urged Ghanaians not to be scared but to go about their legitimate duties in peace.

The spiritual scientist, who said he had seen a lot of prospects in the country in the near future, was of the conviction that with hard work, determination, respect for the rule of law coupled with honest and dedicated leadership, “we will get to the promised land”.

He, therefore, called on Ghanaians, irrespective of their political, social and religious affiliation, to put Ghana first in all their endeavours, saying, “Ghana is our motherland we must respect and cherish it.”

Prof. Amuzu also appealed to the government to make the issues of women and the youth its topmost priority, since “our youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow”.
