Pastor in court for sexually assaulting 12-year-old
A pastor, who has been accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year old girl at Gbawe, has appeared before an Accra Circuit Court.

Blessing Owusu Ansah is said to have used his penis to “brush” the victim’s vagina.
Ansah was charged with indecent assault, when he appeared in court. He has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The court presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku admitted him to bail.
As part of his bail condition, Ansah is to pay GH¢ 2,000 as a security deposit. This is to ensure that he attend court sittings.
Prosecuting Detective Inspector Judith B. Asante told the court that the complainant was a driver and father of the victim. The victim and the accused persons reside at Gbawe in Accra.
On April 26, this year at about 4:00pm Ansah met the victim and invited her to come and visit him at about 7:00pm the same day.
The victim obliged and the accused person offered her one-cedi to go and buy bread.
Prosecution said when the victim returned with the bread, accused person allegedly fondled her after using his penis to “brush” her vagina and warned her not tell anyone else he would kill her.
Prosecution said at about 10:00pm, the victim's mother who had gone to look for her, found her (the victim) in the accused person‘s room.
The victim then informed her mother about the ordeal and the mother subsequently reported the matter to the police.
The police then issued her with a medical form to send the victim to the hospital for examination.
