Rapper Dem Tinz changes name to Mahnny - set to release 'New Chapter' EP
Rapper Dem Tinz has laid down new strategies to scale up his music prowess and build a better future for his craft.

He has changed his name from Dem Tinz to simply, Mahnny, a decision he said would make him a force to reckon with when it came to music of Ghanaian origin.
“I hope to bring back the love for Ghanaian and African music,” he said.
Mahnny added that the decision to change his name also came with the signing of a new record deal.
“I am signed to Magic Music Entertainment which has Dominic Kojo Andoh as my manager and Alexander Kofi Abaka as road manager. I would like to count on the support of the public to realise my vision and aspirations,” he said.
To set the ball rolling, Mahnny is set to release an Extended Play (EP) titled, New Chapter this month. The songs on the EP are New Chapter, Nkatecake Flow, Bestie, Twa Didi Amapiono, Love and Temperature, which features Kra Chi and Tasha respectively.
The producers who worked on it are Datbeatgod, Jake Beatz, and Eriz Beatz and it will be released via his official social media pages.
New Chapter will be available to stream on all digital platforms; Youtube, Spotify, Audiomack, Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer, Shazam, Boomplay, and Soundcloud among others respectively.
Real name Emmanuel Akesseh, Mahnny who is also a songwriter has performed with a number A-list musicians such as Samini, Sarkodie, Kwaw Kesse, Edem, Stonebwoy, Obrafuor, and EpiXode amongst many others.
He has songs like; Twa Didi, Pressure B3 Fawo, Sika Nkoaa featuring Guru and Episode, Fa me Saa, Fama Mi featuring Kesse, Ebi Your Matter, Banger, Freshly and Fine Boy featuring Twoo Thoozin among others to his credit.
In 2017, Mahnny was nominated for New Artiste of the Year in the Ghana Music Awards UK and in 2018 one of his songs was nominated for Hiplife Song of the Year in the same award scheme.
