Akufo-Addo meets with Ivorian, Togolese, Beninois and Burkinabe presidents in Accra

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Friday held a day's meeting with the presidents of Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Benin and Burkina Faso in Accra.

Presidents Alassanne Ouattara of Cote d’Ivoire, Faure Gnassingbé of Togo, Patrice Talon of Benin and Roch Marc Christian Kaboré of Burkina Faso were at the Jubilee House at the invitation of President Akufo-Addo.

The meeting was part of a series of regular interactions held by the five Presidents.

A statement signed and issued by the Minister of Information, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah explained that the discussions focused on addressing matters of mutual interest in the areas of trade, security, and regional integration.

The visiting Presidents will leave Accra on Friday, 22nd February, 2019, the statement added.
