Amplified Concert with Kingzkid today

For the past few months, he has been touring campuses with the aim of encouraging the youth to achieve their dreams and urban gospel musician, Kingzkid is set to crown it all with a show dubbed, Amplified Concert, today at the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), Spintex Road.

His tour took him to schools such as Christian High International School, Dodowa; Ghana National College, Cape Coast; Ashesi University, Brekusu; Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi; American International School, Accra and Queensland International, Accra.

Speaking in an interview with the Daily Graphic, Kingzkid said he was organising the concert to win the youth for Christ and he was hopeful to meet his target.

 “God has done a lot for me since I joined this music business and I think it is right I also motivate the youth in my own way. There will be great performances on the day and I encourage the youth to come in their numbers,” he said.

Gospel artistes who will support Kingzkid at the concert which starts at 12 noon include Cwesi Oteng, Barry, Lil Zig, Regardless, Kellar Thrills and E- Rock.

Put together by Gifted Music, the concert which is sponsored by Eddy’s Pizza, Foot Print TV and Fin Mock will have Jeremie Van Garshong as the MC. 

Known for songs like Hallelujah, Thy Kingdom Come, He Go Do For You, I Got My Jesus On and Bible Skanking, Kingzkid, the graduate of Central University College has won several awards.

They include Best Gospel Music Video of the Year at the MTN 4Styte Music Video Awards, Afrobeat Artiste of the Year at the British Council’s GXMMA (Birmingham) 2015 and Best Collaboration at the Gospel Town Music Awards among others.
