The move was to help break the stigma surrounding menstruation and promoting menstrual hygiene through educating, empowering, and supporting the girls of Accra Girls School.

In an interactive and supportive environment, the foundation's experts shared essential information, debunked myths, and answered the girls' questions, fostering a positive understanding of menstrual health.

15 passionate and enthusiastic girls were selected to become ambassadors.

They were chosen based on their dedication, leadership potential, and commitment to making a difference.

They will undergo deeper training and engagement, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to become advocates for menstrual hygiene within their school and community.

Among some essential supplies distributed to the girls were pads and menstrual caps.

The initiative is aimed at alleviating the burden of period poverty and ensure that no girl misses out on education or opportunities due to a lack of resources.
