Father butchered by ‘mentally ill’ son at Okorase

Kelvin De-Graft Quist, a 28-year-old ‘mentally sick’ man has been arrested by the police for allegedly using a cutlass to butcher his father Mr Agbenyega Emmanuel De-Graft Quist to death at Okorase Junction 10, Koforidua.
The body of the retired accountant - Mr Agbenyega Emmanuel De-Graft Quist - has subsequently been deposited at the Regional Hospital, Mortuary Koforidua pending autopsy.

When the Police regional crime scene team visited the scene of the crime on April 9, 2018, they found the deceased lying dead in a prone position.
He wore a red and white short sleeves shirt, over a pair of trousers and lay in a pool of blood, with multiple cutlass wounds all over his body; in an uncompleted section of his house at Junction 10.
The suspect Kelvin De-Graft Quist is currently in police custody.
