Couple show love to Georgina Korankyewaa Memorial Fashion School
Some students of Georgina Korankyewaa Memorial Fashion School students in Ashongman, Accra, displaying some textbooks donated to them by a Ghanaian couple based in Minnesota, United States of America on Wednesday.
The couple, Mr Yaw Frimpong and his wife, Mrs Ama Frimpong, explained the motive behind the donation and said the gesture will help enhance the educational journey of students pursuing careers in fashion design and cosmetology.

"We recognise the important impact these textbooks could have on the students' knowledge acquisition and we hope these resources make a difference in their learning experience," Mr Frimpong said.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the school, Fashion Facilitator, Rita Bakoko, said the books are extremely relevant in modern fashion design, pattern making and cosmetology, as they offer detailed insights into trends and a step-by-step learning guide.
“We are proud to have them in our school's library," she remarked.
Madam Bakoko added that with the current growth in the student population, the books came at the right time.
