GOIL rewards customers in ‘Efie Ne Fie’ promotion

The Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) has rewarded its customers with GHȼ160,000 worth of fuel and other consolation prizes in the ongoing ‘Efie Ne Fie’ promotion in Accra.

Twenty out of the 720 customers who were rewarded received GHȼ1,000 each worth of fuel on their GOIL Go card with each also getting an additional weekend stay for two at the Coconut Grove Hotel. Another 100 also took home fuel worth GHȼ500 each.

Again 300 out of the total number went home with GHȼ30O each worth of fuel while another 300 customers received free servicing of their vehicles and other consolation prizes.

At the presentation of the first reward under the promo last Tuesday in Accra, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GOIL, Mr Alex Josiah Adzew, commended the public for showing total commitment to the GOIL brand.

“GOIL, the leading oil marketing company in the country, will, through this promotion, reciprocate the gesture with these rewards as a way of saying thank you at the end of the year.

“Our promotion was not a raffle or a game of chance; Apart from the instant rewards customers are receiving nationwide, those who accrue the highest points will get the opportunity to be rewarded in the monthly ultimate rewards,” he said.

Next round

According to him, apart from the 720 beneficiaries who were rewarded, more than 1,700 more customers will receive rewards in the next two rounds of the ultimate reward giveaways in December and January, 2019.

“This is also in addition to the 918,420 items to be given out as instant rewards throughout the period of the promotion. At GOIL, the interest of our customers is our concern.”

“We will, therefore, take every step to make them really feel at home by making sure the products we serve them are of the highest quality and deliver value for money,” he added.

Supporting the economy

The COO stated that GOIL would continue to offer value for money services to customers; getting the right quantity and quality of fuel purchased.

He explained that as the biggest indigenous OMC, “GOIL believes that its profit should be ploughed back into the Ghanaian economy”.

That, he said was the main reason why the company was listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) with over 16,000 shareholders who were mainly Ghanaian individuals and Ghanaian-owned companies.
