Planet One Multimedia to hold Media Olympics

Not exercising can be very dangerous to the human body and to get media men to exercise, Planet One Multimedia in partnership with the National Sports Authority and Ministry of Sports is set to host the maiden edition of Media Olympics.

The event is aimed at creating a healthy platform for media houses to network and socialize whiles fostering unity and a healthy competitive environment for their staffers to exercise.

Scheduled to take place on May 1, 2022, at the El-Wak Sports Stadium, activities that will take place on the day include football, sack racing, basketball, racing and oware.

Speaking in an interview, Gilbert Boakye Nhyira, the CEO of Planet One Multimedia, organisers of the event said “Most media staffers hardly get time out of their busy schedules to exercise and hangout hence the need for this event”.

According to Mr Nhyira, every media house is invited to this event which he hoped would become an annual event on the sporting calendar.
