Phobia: Hearts crowned Ghana Premier League champions

Accra Hearts of Oak have been crowned the champions of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians were crowned on Saturday after their 1-0 loss to West Africa Football Academy at the Sogakope Park.

Hearts have now won the Ghanaian topflight title 21 times and their first title in 12 years.

It was the 21st league title for the Phobians and the first title in 12 years for the club.

The champions were presented with 40 medals and GHS250,000 as cash prize.

They will also represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Champions League.
