This weekend’s interesting ties have the Great Olympics versus Liberty Professionals in a regional derby at the Accra Stadium topping the bill, given the desperate need for the two sides to improve their lot in the GPL standings.

Leaders WAFA will travel to the Tamale Utrecht Park to lock horns with Bolga All Stars as they seek to maintain their position at the summit of the log.

WAFA managed a goalless draw with Liberty Professionals away from home and a win could help them extend their lead at the top of the table.

Accra Hearts of Oak travel to the Ndoum Stadium at Elmina to face Elmina Sharks, while Kumasi Asante Kotoko will hope to use last Sunday's MTN FA Cup win over Wassaman as a stepping stone to launch an impressive campaign in their last 12 games of the season when they welcome Wa All Stars to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors need to return to winning ways having drawn their last two games against Great Olympics and Aduana Stars, while champions All Stars search for consistency after defeating Berekum Chelsea in their last outing.

In other matches, Aduana Stars face a tough test as they travel to the Tema Stadium to engage Tema Youth, Ashantigold host Inter Allies at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, Bechem United, who lost their MTN FA Cup match in an embarrassing 4-0 result to Berekum Chelsea, will host Medeama at the Nana Gyeabour Park at Bechem.

Berekum Chelsea will host Ebusua Dwarfs at the Golden City Park.
