Mfum to grace Ahafo Homecoming Festival gala

A special soccer gala will be staged at the Nana Fosu Gyeabuor II park in Bechem on Friday, December 30, in commemoration of the Ahafo Homecoming Festival.
The competition will comprise six districts in the Ahafo Region namely: Asunafo North, Asunafo South, Asutifi North, Asutifi South, Tano North and Tano South.

The ceremonial kick-off will be done by Wilberforce Kwadwo Mfum, former Kotoko and Black Stars striker, who is a native of Ahafo-Hwidiem.
The festival will take off with an inter-district marathon at 6:00am.
The race will begin at Duayaw Nkwanta and end in Bechem.
The Homecoming Festival will be climaxed with a grand durbar on Saturday, December 31. It will be graced by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the Guest Speaker, while Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will be the Guest of Honour.
