Boateng receives award at Granada

Ghana midfielder Richard Boateng has finally been rewarded for winning the best player at Granada B in the 2014/15 season.

The 23-year-old was excellent for the Spanish side in the third-tier league after scoring five goals for his club.

Boateng, who plays together with former Ghana U-20 star and 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup bronze ball winner Clifford Aboagye,  helped the club to a comfortable position on the league table.

The player finally received his award for his immense performance for the side last season where he played 35 matches.

He is the younger brother of former Black Stars midfielder Derek Boateng.
