Rahman's departure to PAOK on a three-year deal marks the end of his association with Chelsea, a staggering seven years after his last appearance for the club.

The left-back originally joined Chelsea from Augsburg in the summer of 2015 and made a noteworthy contribution to the club during his debut season at Stamford Bridge, featuring as a left-back for the first team in 23 matches.

However, his progress was interrupted when he suffered a knee injury while representing Ghana at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

As a result, Rahman embarked on a series of loan spells, including a stint at Schalke and subsequent loans at Reims, Real Mallorca, and PAOK.

Following his loan spells, Rahman spent the last two seasons playing in the Championship with Reading. Unfortunately, his time at the club concluded with relegation to League One.

Nonetheless, Rahman's dedication to his national team, Ghana, has been unwavering, earning him 51 caps and a place in the final of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Rahman's move to PAOK represents a fresh start for the Ghanaian left-back, who struggled to secure regular playing time at Chelsea since his arrival in 2015.

Although he initially signed a five-year contract with the English club for a fee of £14 million, potentially rising to £22 million, his appearances were limited to just 23 in the 2015/2016 season.
