3 FIFA candidates storm Accra

Three of the candidates who will contest in next month's FIFA Presidential elections will be in Accra during the General Assembly of WAFU Zone B tomorrow.

HRH Prince Ali Al Hussein, Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa and Gianni Infantino will be in Accra to present themselves to delegates of the sub-regional football body who will be at tomorrow's congress, while the other two aspirants, Jérôme Champagne and Tokyo Sexwale are expected to send their representatives.

Sheikh Al Khalifa was expected to arrive in Accra yesterday evening, while the two others will be in the country today.

The aspirants will be hoping to convince delegates to vote for them in the FIFA Presidential elections on February 26 in Zurich.

They will also address the media at a press conference after the Congress.

The GFA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi, who is also the President of the WAFU Zone B, will be chairing the General Assembly at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra at 9a.
