Mukarama's strike earns Hasaacas Ladies a draw against Dreamz Ladies

Star player Mukarama Abdulai's 47th minute strike earned Hasaacas Ladies a draw with Dreamz Ladies in the 2023 Ghana Women's Premier Super Cup which started at the Kyebi Astro Turf in the Eastern Region today, September 29.

It was Mukarama's debut game for the Hasmal Ladies after she joined the club on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Dreamz Ladies took the lead in the 23rd minute when Helena laid a cross close to the box for Ivy Osei Owusu to smash home as they ended the first half with a 1-0 lead.

Right after recess, Abdulai Mukarama drew parity with a header in the 47th minute.

In the 80th minute, Dreamz Ladies’ Sarah Abrefi played a through-ball to Precious Asante, who side footed effort bobbled wide.

Both sides pushed for the match winner but failed to take their chances as the game ended 1-1 at Kyebi in the Eastern Region.

In the second Southern Zone fixture, Berry Ladies defeated Supreme Ladies 3-0. Martha Appiah opened the scoring in the 33rd minute before Comfort Cobinnah and Christabel Afriyie added a goal each in the 48th and 90th minutes respectively to seal the deal for Berry Ladies. 

The Northern Zone fixtures will see Army Ladies face Northern Ladies  at 9am while Faith Ladies play Ampem Darkoa Ladies at 3pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the same venue.
