Hearts beat Arsenal

Similarly, Douglas Nkrumah who was on the mission to punish his former side after switching camp to Arsenal managed a few fine touches and attempted some efforts at goal but Nuru Sule and Robin Gnagne dealt with him.

When they returned to from recess, Hearts introduced Yakubu Musa and Ashitey Ollenu to beef up their attack and their presence changed the complexion of the game as they continue to attack and create chances but failed to score.

Arsenal also introduced Raphael Obeng, Hamza Mohammed and Bright Kukubor but they added little output to their side as Hearts continued to pile pressure on the visitors  until Otoo was brought down at the edge of the box in one Hearts forays on the 61st minute.

Esme Mends who took the kick curled it over the human wall beyond the reach of Yartey.  But five minutes later Arsenal were rewarded with a penalty after Owusu Bempah fouled Isaac Osei in the box. Nkrumah displaced Luggard Tetteh in post for Hearts for the equaliser.

But Hearts put their victory beyond recovery when striker Otoo headed home an 84th- minute cornerkick.
