Ashgold yesterday regained the top spot of the First Capital Premier League when they beat Bechem United 2-1 at the Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi.
The Miners opened the scores on the 40th through striker Mumuni Shafiu.
But Noah Martey brought Bechem United on level terms few minutes after recess when he expertly converted a penalty awarded them by Referee Issaka Afful who pointed to the spot after Burkinabe Henri Traore had handled the ball inside the box.
But Ashgold managed to secure the winner through Bernard Morrison in the 80th minute.
