Black Stars set for Holland

Black Stars coach, Kwasi Appiah, was expected to have a full complement of his 26-man squad last night following the expected arrival of AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari.

Muntari, who featured prominently in last Friday’s farewell match between the Stars and the Dream Team was left behind when the team left for Holland last Saturday.

Muntari’s arrival in camp is expected to boost the Stars’ preparation towards Saturday’s high-profile international friendly against Holland in Rotterdam.

Earlier, Michael Essien and Kevin-Prince Boateng who were excused from last week’s non-residential training in Accra also joined their colleagues in Arnhem ahead of Saturday’s game.

Coach Appiah, who now has a full house, is expected to name his final 23-man squad for the World Cup immediately after Saturday’s match.
