NDC Polls: 10,211 delegates to vote in the Eastern Region
A total of 10,211 delegates in 10 constituencies in the Eastern Region are expected to cast their ballot in the ongoing primaries to elect parliamentary candidates for the 2020 elections.
Voting is running smoothly in the 10 out of the 13 constituencies cleared for the elections.

Currently, voting is ongoing in the Lower Manya and Upper Manya, Asuogyaman, Nsawam, Ayensuano, Upper West Akim, Suhum, Abirim and Afram Plains North and South constituencies.
The Abuakwa North constituency according to the Acting Secretary of the Eastern Regional office of the NDC, Mr Kudjo Adukpoe, would be by popular acclamation since it was being contested by only one candidate, Mr Charles Darko Yeboah.

According to Mr Adukpoe, about 1,185 delegates were expected to cast their ballot at the Afram Plains North, where he was currently stationed to monitor.
