Some 839 voters made a choice between the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Ms Adwoa Sarfo and Mr Isaac Amofa.

Graphiconline Reporter, Salomey Appiah reported that as of 4.50p.m., 774 voters had cast their ballots in the election that was nearly marred by the presence of MP for Tema East, Mr Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover.

Mr Amofa’s supporters had accused Mr Glover of trying to woo the delegates to vote for Ms Sarfo indirectly in a contest in which he was expected to be neutral.

Dome Kwabenya is the largest constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

Ms Adwoa Sarfo won with 587 votes as against 249 by Isaac Amofa.
