Cape Coast set for NDC campaign launch

Miniature flags of the ruling National Democratic Congress are all over electric poles on all major steets in Cape Coast as the party gets ready for their campaign launch at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium Sunday.

Campaign Cordinator, Kofi Adams has been at the venue ensuring hitches to the programme, if any, were reduced to the barest.

Hundreds of vendors including food vendors, paraphenelia sellers and telecommunication operators have set up for business.

In the metropolis, young men were seen still mounting posters on poles.

The Vice President, Papa Kwesi Amissah Arthur on Saturday visited the venue.

Several ministers of state also arrived at the venue as campaign songs boomed from loud speakers.

The iChoose Mahama youth group of the NDC were also seen processing through the Pedu_Abura area.

Security and Security

Security personnel have been in and out of the stadium mapping out strategies while about 60 Zoomlion personnel have already arrived at the venue to help keep the venue tidy.

Communication Officer

A National Communications Officer of the party, Mr Kweku Boahen said the enthusiasm among the people in the metropolis and venue was encouraging and an indication that all will go well.

He said the party was expecting about 30,000 people at the launch.

Campaign Theme

The campaign is being launched on the theme "Changing lives transforming Ghana", and is expected to highlight the achievements of the party.
