Adaklu DCE urged to create equal opportunities

The Adaklu Namianyo Association has expressed the hope that the new District Chief Executive appointed to the Adaklu District Assembly would use his good offices to create equal opportunities for all citizens.

This, they said, would go a long way to unearth the collective potential of the people for the total development of the new district.

The District Chief Executive, Mr Emmanuel Ganaku, is the second person to be nominated by the President for the Adaklu District Assembly, which was carved from the former Adaklu –Anyigbe District Assembly in the Volta Region.

The district assembly had earlier rejected an educationist who was appointed by the President.

A congratulatory message signed by the chairman of the association, Mr Christian Wedanu, to the new DCE stated that the members were ever ready to extend their support to uplift the standard of living in the area.

“We the rank and file of Adaklu Namianyo wishes to express our bundle of joy for your appointment by His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama and subsequent confirmation by your colleague assembly members as the first District Chief Executive of Adaklu District Assembly,” the message stated.

The message was emphatic that it did not doubt the ability of the DCE to unite the people of Adaklu no matter the political affiliations, and appealed to him to use his office to promote peace, togetherness, harmony and cohesion to foster sustainable partnership among the people.

This, it stated, would help in the discharge of his duties and responsibilities to enable him to achieve his goals as a chief executive and those of the government, adding that the association would partner his office in the development of the people.
