Covid 19: Ghana records 131 new cases

Ghana has recorded 131 new novel coronavirus disease (COVID 19) cases to bring the country’s case count to 6,617.

The number of recoveries has also jumped to 1,978 from 1,951 while the death toll remains at 31, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has said.

Out of the 31 new cases, 81 infections were from the Greater Accra Region. Ashanti Region recorded 22 new cases, 10 new cases in the Central region, 13 new cases in the Western Region, 4 new cases in Western North, 1 in the Volta Region.
