Stratcomm CEO salutes new IPR executive

The leadership of the Strategic Communications Africa Limited (Stratcomm Africa) last Wednesday called on the executive council of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana at the secretariat of the institute in Accra.

Led by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stratcomm Africa, Ms Esther A. N. Cobbah, the visit was to congratulate the newly elected executive of the institute.

It was also to express Stratcomm’s appreciation to the institute for awarding it (Stratcomm Africa), its CEO and two clients at the 2014 IPR Excellence Awards held recently.

Ms Cobbah was accompanied by Ms Gillian Heathcote, General Manager for Communications, Mr Solomon Kwasi Kyei, Head of Operations at Stratcomm Africa, Ms Marcia Azu and Ms Linda Mireku, both from Stratcomm Africa’s Brand Communication Unit and Abigail Naa Karley Clegg, a member of the Communication Unit. 

They were received by Mr Henry Nii Dottey, Honorary Secretary, Ms Gifty Kabuiki Apedoe, Programmes and fundraising Officer and Mr Joseph E. T. Dottey, Executive Secretary of IPR Ghana.

 In a brief remark, Ms Cobbah indicated that the awards had encouraged the company to do more to serve Ghanaians.

The President of IPR Ghana, Mrs Elaine Sam Kwami, expressed her appreciation for the visit, and assured the council and the new executive’s commitment to work effectively towards the success of the institute.

She acknowledged the exemplary role Stratcomm had played in raising the image of communications as a professional discipline in Ghana.
