Purejoy supports Tema SOS Village

The Founder of Pure Joy Football Club, Mr Isaac Tetteh, on New Year's Day presented assorted food items and drinks to the Tema Sos Village at Tema.

The items included 15 bags of rice, 20 gallons of cooking oil, 30 cartons of assorted drinks, as well as quantities bread and cake.

He also served the children with some sumptuous dishes interspersed with music by the Tagoe Sisters and some actors, including Kwame Dzokoto and Henry Harding, aka Oesophagus.

Mr Tetteh said he had been the SOS Village for the past 12 years as part of an agreement signed between his company, T.T. Brothers Company Limited, and its foreign partners, Parmalat Pure Joy of South Africa and South West Distilleries, to suppport the village every year.

He also fancied his club’s chances of qualifying to the premiership this season despite the anticipated tough opposition from the other clubs.

The Director of the SOS Children’s Village Ghana, Mr Isaac Kojo Ackon, who received the items, thanked the company for the gesture and expressed the hope that the items would be used judiciously.
