Peace FM Goaso correspondent shot dead
A Peace FM correspondent in the Brong Ahafo region has been shot dead by suspected armed robbers. He was killed at Kwapong near Kukuom in the Asunafo South District on Thursday evening.

According to the police, King George, also known as Abanga had gone to do an investigation on a fertilizer case at Sankore and was returning.
The unknown assailants accosted him and shot him at close range.
The police said their initial information points to the fact that the suspected armed robbers, may have mistook George to be a cocoa purchasing clerk, whom they were trailing and was carrying money.
The body of the 39-year-old has since been deposited at the Goaso Government Hospital morgue.
King George was also a Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak in the Brong. Ahafo region and worked for Success FM in Goaso as well as Accra based Peace FM.
He left behind a wife and a child.
