The 45th anniversary celebration to be climaxed on November 16, 2013 is on the theme: ‘@ 45: Producing Human Resource for National Development’.

The Assistant Headmaster incharge of administration of the school, Mr Solomon T. Kudji, briefing the media on the activities lined up for the anniversary used the platform to appealed to the major stakeholders, wellwishers, organisations, and individuals to come and support the development of the school.

‘We are using this opportunity to appeal to government to pay attention to MAKROSEC as it is being done to the other senior high institutions,’  Mr Kudji said.

He explained that the anniversary was aimed at showcasing the school and also used the opportunity to reward some founding members and other people who contributed towards the development of the school.

He said encroachment on the school’s land was a major problem confronting the school’s administration and said the school authorities would be raising funds at the anniversary for the construction of a fence.

Mr Kudji said the blood donation was a social responsibility of the school towards nation building and expressed gratitude to the teachers, non-teaching staff and students who willingly donated blood to save lives.
