The acting Chief Executive Officer of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr Felix Anyaa has been relieved of his position, Graphic Online has gathered.
Sources close to the Presidency have hinted Graphic Online that the move was part of an ongoing review of the performance of government appointees.
Already, the the Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport (BOST) Company, Mr Alfred Obeng Boateng and the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA), Mr Paul Asare Ansah have also been relieved of their various positions.

When reached via telephone, the Information Minister, Dr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid confirmed that of the BOST and GPHA bosses and explained it was part of an ongoing review of the performance of appointees and it is likely more will follow soon.
"The President's role really is like a coach, he has a vision of the strategy and he appoints or selects players to fit the game. He can even recall a star player," the Information Minister said.
Meanwhile the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in a press statement signed by Deputy General Secretary Koku Anyodoho has reacted to the dismissal of the chief executives and said it was part of "diversionary antics" of the government.
Below is a copy of the NDC statement
The NDC Shall Not Fall For Any Diversionary Antics Of The Fast-Sinking Akufo-Addo NPP Government Via Sacking Of Some CEOs
The National Democratic Congress (NDC), is calling on all Party members, to completely ignore, the desperate diversionary attempt of the failing and fast-sinking Akufo-Addo Government, to use the rather belated supposed sacking of some Chief Executive Officers of certain Government owned Entities to pull a veil over the impending screening of the corrosive corruption-laden video of Anas Aremyaw Anas.
All comrades and patriots must stay glued to the nitty gritties of the video of Anas Aremyaw Anas, and hold this Super Incompetent NPP Administration accountantable for the blatant ignominy and shame it has brought upon Kwame Nkrumah' s Ghana as they continue to swim in murky seas of: ONE DAY, ONE CORRUPTION.
