Speaking to the Daily Graphic, Baffour Oppong reminded Ghanaians that they had the mandate to obey and respect laws of the state and, therefore, should not create fear and panic before and after the declaration of the judgement.

He congratulated the nine judges for their tolerance, vigilance and hard work exhibited over the past 49 days of sitting in court, beside the disciplinary measures taken to bring order and dignity to the nation’s Supreme Court.

Baffour Oppong also commended the two political parties for their display of respect for our democratic culture which had brought illumination into politics in Ghana and Africa.

He expressed his strong conviction that Ghana would march on stronger after the verdict and establish itself as the beacon of hope for Africa.
