Prof Naana Opoku-Agyemang donates GH₵50,000 to GNAT Cancer Foundation
Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential ticket, has donated GH₵50,000 to the Ghana Cancer Foundation (GCF) in Accra.

The contribution, made today, is intended to support the Foundation’s efforts in combating cancer among Ghana's educators.
In her address, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang, an educationist with a history of advocating for Ghana’s educational sector, urged the public to join the fight against cancer affecting teachers. Her donation underscores her continued commitment to the welfare of educators and the broader community.
As a former Minister of Education and Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang has been a staunch advocate for improvements in both education and healthcare. Her efforts have garnered considerable respect and admiration.
In addition to her philanthropic gesture, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang and the NDC ticket are promoting a transformative agenda for teachers, which includes providing accommodation facilities within new and existing school buildings.
