Fashion experts say in the 1940s manufacturers settled on pink for girls and blue for boys, so Baby Boomers were raised with wearing the two colours. But that was not the end of the story.

 

As we already know blue is a colour that acts as a neutral, meaning there isn't a colour that does not go with blue and its other variations.

From the blue family is baby blue which is basically a pale tint of blue. Do not confuse this colour with turquoise, cyan, sea blue, aquamarine, and sky blue among others. Baby blue is simply unique, cool and chic for all occasions.

When it comes to combining baby blue there are varieties of colours you can select from. To use light blue in a look that makes a statement without going over the top, pair it with other cool colours.
