The importance of supporting young talents in sports and the impact of IVoT Financial Training Inc

This was the case for a young junior golfer in the Fafali Organization’s Golf & Goal project, Julienne Afi Amezado, who recently received sponsorship to feature in the Mack Champ Invitational tournament in Houston from 13 April – 15, 2023.
The organization in question is IVoT Financial Training Inc. IVoT stands for the “Infinite Value of Time.” IVoT Financial Training Inc. is an educational financial technology institution developing gamified financial education tools and content. IVoT Academy is an online platform for members to access expert financial content, training, and support, and collaborate with other members to develop and practice their financial skills.
Representatives of IVoT and Fafali Organization collaborate to provide financial literacy lessons to the staff of the Fafali Organization. The collaboration aims to equip the staff with the necessary knowledge to make informed financial decisions, while also imparting basic financial knowledge to the younger generation of the Anumle Electoral Area.
In an interview with Loik Laurent, Culture Officer of IVoT Inc., he outlined the motivation behind sponsoring Afi Amezado.
“IVoT is motivated by Afi's perseverance and dedication to develop her talent as an athlete. We believe that having access to a diverse range of expertise will undoubtedly enhance Afi's impact in her own community, so she had our full support,” Loik said.
Asked about how important it is for companies and individuals to support young athletes, particularly those from underrepresented communities, he said, “Sports are a powerful tool by which young people in underrepresented communities can grow and gain opportunities. To that end, it is crucial that organizations like Fafali are supported to bring world-class training to these communities and then enable the most dedicated athletes to show their talent around the world.”
Loik also added, “We look forward to continuing to track Afi's progress in her golf and other pursuits and will be there to support her as best we can both financially and with our other resources and connections.”
Afi has been part of the Fafali Organizations Golf & Goal since its inception in 2021, and her talent and determination have not gone unnoticed. Her consistent performance in local tournaments had caught the attention of everyone closer and far away, hence, the opportunity to feature in the 2023 Mack Champ Invitational Tournament. She became a beneficiary of IVoT’s support program. IVoT Financial Training Inc. provided Afi with the necessary financial support as a Bronze sponsor through a sponsorship package developed by the team at the Fafali Organization to improve her performance.
The CEO of the Fafali Organization, Senyo Sosu, in an interview mentioned how big of a deal, IVoT’s assistance has been in attaining this success and what went into preparing Afi for the tournament in Houston.
“The opportunity for Afi to feature in the Mack Champ Invitational Tournament in Houston was a culmination of the support from IVoT. The tournament was one of the most prestigious events in junior golf, and Afi was thrilled to be a part of it. She had been preparing for the tournament for several weeks, working on her swing, her putting, and her mental game, and she was ready to give it her all,” Mr. Sosu said.
The tournament spanned three days, and during Afi's debut international duty, she impressed the tournament organizers with her remarkable display of raw talent, focus, and determination. Her performance as someone coming from this part of the world quickly made her the talk of the tournament, with Jeff Champ, the CEO and Co-Founder of the Cameron Champ Foundation, taking a personal interest in nurturing her raw African talent to become a golf phenomenon in the future.
On the final day of the tournament, Afi was taken around to meet some professionals at the course, who graciously signed autographs for her and encouraged her to aim higher. Afi's journey to the tournament was a testament to her hard work and talent, as well as the invaluable support she received from IVoT.
The sponsorship of Afi by IVoT was not only beneficial to her but also to the organization.
