Four contestants have been eliminated from MTN Hitmaker 6 after the 16 finalists gave their first live performance at the National Theatre on Tuesday, August 12.
Paired for their first performance, the contestants had only one task, to impress the judging panel, made up of TV/radio host, Caroline Sampson, entertainment critic, Francis Doku and award winning music producer, Kaywa to ensure they got a slot in the final 12.

The beatmakers, Richie, Magnom and DJ Breezy were invited on stage to ballot for the contestants they will be mentoring.
DJ Breezy takes on rappers Freda and D-Forina, RnB singers Evey and Josh while Richie takes on RnB singers Fati, Shadey and Krymi, along with reggae dancehall act, Xali. Magnom also takes on RnB singers Qwo-Djo and Drew, rappers Kwesi Taadi and Yaw Berk.
