Too Sweet, no player

How fine is actor Too Sweet Annan? He is smoking hot that it is no wonder most negative stories that have trailed him since he hit the limelight in 2008 have to do with loads of women whose hearts he has allegedly shattered.

But the attractive muscled man who is a father to a four-year old daughter says he is no player and it is unfortunate some people see him as such.

“ I am not a bad guy. I am not a womaniser. I just don’t get it when people are quick to judge others without getting to know them,” he said in a conversation with Showbiz.

According to him, he does not even know most of the ladies or people who say that about him. “ Those who go about saying all sorts about me don’t even know me. They are not my friends. People who know me can testify that I am far from the person they have been painting me to be.”

Asked if his good looks may be one of the reasons why people think he has clocked serious bedroom mileage, this is what he said “I think the way I look is part of the reason people see me as a player but I can’t do anything about it, this is how God created me.”

He is surprised these stories are being peddled about him because he does not take advantage of his females fans who literally throw themselves at him.

“That is not my style. I do not see being an actor with female fan base as an opportunity to take advantage of women. Yes, being an actor comes with that pressure and there is no way it will stop now but the thing is I am not rude, I am always nice.

“I believe I am here because of their support so there is no need being unfriendly. As for the pressure, it comes with the job. It is always good to appreciate people.”

Describing who he really is, the Royal Diadem actor said, “ I am an introvert, I do not drink or smoke, I am not the kind that stays out late or go clubbing or partying like people perceive me to be. I think I am funny and down to earth. I love to keep to myself and mind my business, work hard and love my daughter”.

In all these, the actor signed on to Zylofon Media said he is unfazed by all the negative news flying around him because no amount of such stories peddled about him will dent his brand.

“I am not bothered about such stories and they won’t affect my brand. My brand is my brand; I am me and the face behind the brand. When it comes to work, I go all out and be as professional as I am expected. People I have worked with can testify to my work abilities and professionalism,” he said.

Annan who has plans to get married someday, said the woman who he will share the rest of his life with must understand the kind of profession he is in.

“My woman should know some of my work ‘hazzards’. Female fans will always be there but that doesn’t mean I am sleeping around. You know, sometimes some female fans will make comments such as “I miss you” and all when I don’t even know them so if my woman would want to act on these things, it will be difficult for her to be with me.”

Too Sweet Annan developed the passion for acting at an early age when his school appeared on Toddlers’ Time, a children’s show on GTV.

But his major career break came in 2008 when he met Joseph K. Serebour, the Executive Producer of Peace Films, who featured him in his movie, The Supremo.
He studied Visual Arts in Nungua Senior High School and proceeded to study Fine Arts at Ghanatta College of Arts.

Some of the movies he has featured in include Royal Diadem, Circle Of Trust, The Supremo, Living With Trisha and Happily (N) Ever After.
