Sports Journalist Edmund Okai Gyimah out with "Fake Life"
Award winning Ghanaian international sports writer Edmund Okai Gyimah also known as "Black Messiah" in showbiz circles, is out with a single titled "Fake Life".

The song is the fourth single of the astute sports writer and it was released under Winner Beatz and Big Hommies Music Production in Kigali Rwanda.
Black Messiah, who works for the biggest online news media in Rwanda and East Africa revealed that music was part of him and it was something he grew up with.
"Actually, I started rapping and singing when I was very young, I wanted to be a professional musician but my parents will have none of that I put my music career on hold," he Black Messiah.
"The thing was still in me after many years. One day after work, I took my phone and did a freestyle and I posted on my status. A friend saw it and linked me to a producer Winner Beatz and a record label Big Hommies, they signed me so that was it."
About his latest track "Fake Life", which came out on March 26, 2024, Black Messiah emphasized that it talks about people who live all sort of lives to impress although they have nothing.
"There are so many fake people in this world currently especially the youth. Many don't have anything but live extravagant fake life to impress. They don't listen to advise," he explained.
"I featured a colleague at work Shmadoek (Heritier Bahizi). He is a great friend and we work together at the same office. He is a showbiz journalist."
He continued: "The song is is mixture of Jamaican patois, Asante Twi, Kinyarwanda and English. It has an afro beat-dance hall chorus and it laced with rap. The audio version is out, we are working on the video."
Black Messiah has previously worked for Goal.com, Graphic Sports, and Dailymailgh. He has been thrice voted among the best ten sports writers in Africa.
