Photos: Celebs model to raise funds for malaria charity

It was all applause for Ghanaian celebrities Marie Humbert, Anita Erskine, Wiyaala, Gena West, Akofa Edjeani and Kokui Selormey when they took to the catwalk in their beautiful Vlisco fabrics to raise funds for Infanta Malaria Prevention Foundation.

The celebs proved they were not just good at their permanent jobs but they modelled as if they were professionals who had been doing modelling for years now. 

For the short time they were on stage displaying their wears and modelling to the delight of their fans, they received all the claps and cheers from the audience and their loved ones.

Wiyaala wearing House of Eccentric for VliscoAn auction followed the fashion show, giving guests the opportunity to bid for the one-off exclusive outfits modelled by the celebs and be among the first to get their hands on the latest Vlisco collection.

Akofa Adjeani wearing Rowvon for VliscoThe Infanta Malaria Prevention Foundation has been working tirelessly to inform people about the prevention and treatment of malaria through outreach education programs and distribution of mosquito nets in under-developed areas of Ghana, where they are needed most.

House of Eccentric for Vlisco  1 In 2011, the Foundation built its first Community-based Health Planning Services (CHPS) clinic and aims to build one in each of the ten regions in Ghana, markedly improving access to healthcare for some of the most marginalized communities.
