Nigerian comedian Craze Clown reveals Christian Atsu paid his fees
Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Emmanuel Iwueke, widely known as Craze Clown has revealed that late Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu supported him through school.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the comedian stated that he had reached out to Christian Atsu in 2015 for help following the death of his father which posed a possible threat to furthering his education at the time.

The comedian said the former Chelsea, Newcastle and Porto winger offered to pay his fees until he graduated from school.
The comedian shared a screenshot of his conversation with the footballer who promised to make sure he (Craze Clown) completed school.
He added that the comedian turned out to be a great friend he will miss.
“Christian has been supporting me from way back in 2015. “When I lost my dad, he l reached out and offered to pay my fees till I graduated and he did.
“You’ve been a great friend of mine, Chris, and I will surely miss you. I really can’t hold back the tears. Rest well brother.”

The high hopes of many Ghanaians of the recovery of former ex-Black Stars player, Christian Atsu alive from the rubbles of the Türkiye earthquake which happened a fortnight ago, were dashed with news of his death.
Atsu who played for Hatayspor before his tragic death was one of the star players from the Chelsea academy before heading to Türkiye.
Atsu had scored for Hatayspor Kulubu, their only goal in that game, the day before the disaster struck.
The 31-year-old was residing in an apartment in the Hatay city which suffered huge damages during the quake.
Over 41,000 lives have been lost with many injured. A few survivors have been rescued though hopes dwindle after almost two weeks.
Christian Atsu's Manager, Nana Sechere who had travelled to Turkey and was providing follow ups during the week confirmed the striker's death in a tweet.
Atsu played 65 times for Ghana, scoring nine goals and was a member of the Black Star squad who featured at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Atsu’s body was flown into Ghana by Turkish airlines yesterday for burial.
