Actor turned musician Lilwin, was the toast of the night at the Power2DoMore concert held to climax the Senya Akomase festival on Saturday, 19 August.
The Akomase festival is celebrated by the Chiefs and people of the Senya Beraku Traditional Areas in the Central Region and last Saturday’s concert saw attendance from a massive audience made up of people from neighbouring towns and beyond.
Prior to the concert, activities such as a football gala, regatta, durbar among others had been held as part of the celebration.
Despite a few minor technical challenges, Lilwin managed to put on an impressive performance. His unique blend of short bursts of comic interactions with the audience as well as a very well-rehearsed performance was one of the highlights of the evening.
