The outcome is what listeners are being served on Obi Akonode3, which drops today Thursday, March 9.

The trio take turns on Obi Akonode3 by Naa Agyemang featuring the other two to praise their women for being exemplary among their compatriots.

Naa Agyeman boasts of his undiluted love for his partner and narrates how she deserves the best of care and love from him.

Akosua is the name of KK Fosu's lover. There must be something special that she did for KK Fosu for which the singer doesn't relent in showering huge praises on her for her distinct qualities.

Kwabena Sunkwa concurs that good women should be celebrated and appreciates his partner for being a strong pillar.

In a conversation with Graphic Showbiz, Naa Agyeman said apart from the message of love and appreciating supportive women, Obi Akonode3, produced by Datbeatgod is equally focused on promoting Highlife and to dismiss the notion the music style is old school and no more relevant.

“I personally featured KK Fosu and Kwabena Sunkwa who have worked with distinguished musicians such as Daddy Lumba.

“Obi Akonode3 is the final product from talents, experience and a purpose to bring more attention to Highlife music. Music audience will know what I am talking about and be the best judges.

"We haven’t dropped new releases in a while so we took our time to work on this song to bring back what we are actually missing in Highlife music. There will be more of such songs subsequently”, he said.

According to Naa Agyeman, Highlife music is the only genre that identifies us as Ghanaians.

“I am not saying the other genres are not good but they do not identify us as Ghanaians. We only have Highlife and we need to protect it”, he added.
