Fama Kwame reflects on rejections and inspiration behind new single, Kyere Me Odo
Ghanaian rising star Fama Kwame has opened up about the challenges he faced early in his music career, sharing how rejection from friends and family motivated him to push harder in the industry.
In a candid interview following the release of his latest single Kyere Me Odo, the artist revealed that his decision to pursue music was met with disapproval from some of his closest associates.

"A lot of friends and some family members didn't agree with me pursuing a career in music, but that served as motivation for me," Fama Kwame shared.
Undeterred, he channelled these challenges into inspiration, believing strongly in his talent. "I believe in my talent, and gradually I can see the progress I am making, and I urge fans to keep supporting my music," he said.
Fama Kwame highlighted the influence of notable Ghanaian acts such as Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and E.L. on his musical journey, describing them as artists who shaped his creative vision.
"My style of music is a reflection of my experiences, thoughts, and observations on life, love, and society," he explained. "I always look to tackle issues of relationships, self-empowerment, and social justice, infusing my lyrics with humour, wit, and vulnerability."
The musician added that his artistic mission is to create music that resonates with the soul, inspires the mind, and energises the body. "I'm just getting started, and I'm excited for the world to experience my art," he stated.
