SINCE 2007, Gospel artiste Bernard Amankwah has always welcomed the month of September with glee.

This because the singer has purposely dedicated the nineth month of the year to profoundly express his appreciation to God through his annual Celebration of His Grace concert.

Hence, Bernard Amankwah and the Presence Ministry band, with support of some of his colleagues have led Gospel music enthusiasts in moments of upliftment every September.

So once again, he is ever ready to serve as a medium for patrons to also praise and worship God through songs on Sunday, September 25.

For this year, the Presence singer has announced Empress Gifty as one of the host of artistes billed to perform at this year’s concert.


In a conversation with Graphic Showbiz, Bernard Amankwah who has gained considerable attention with songs such as Your Presence, The Glory Has Come, Mercy Rescues Me, I'm Redeemed and One More Step is certain the upcoming show will positively impact on the state of mind of those in challenging season of their lives.

"I started this concert because after a careful assessment of my life, I was more than convinced my progress in life could only be the hand of work of God.

"I wanted the world to know that there is a God who changes lives and saves people from the path of destruction.

"Today, there are many young people going wayward so while I use the show to thank God, I equally use it as a platform to engage the youth to eschew vices that are detrimental to their advancement," he said.

Bernard Amankwah mentioned that the goal of the concert has always informed his selection of artistes for the concert since its inception.

"The likes of Irene Logan, MOG, KODA, Jackie Mpare, Cynthia Appiadu of Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Edwin Dadson and Edith Marfo have all blessed patrons with their ministration and artistes billed for this year will live up to goals of the concert," he added.
