Artistes are depressed for lack of hit songs - M.O.G Beatz
Popular Ghanaian music producer, John Dosunmu Mensah widely known as M.O.G Beatz has noted in a Twitter post that many musicians are depressed because they are not producing hits.
According to him, the pressure to top charts and huge demands from the fans to deliver is affecting the mental wellbeing of artistes.
He mentioned that the situation is not just peculiar to musicians but players in the music production chain such as video directors and producers equally find themselves in similar situations.
He prayed for the mercies of God to see the victims through the difficult situation.
"Chale a lot of Artistes are depressed o.. May God give them peace .. Cos eno easy especially when the hits are not coming and the fans are constantly downgrading their efforts", he tweeted on Tuesday, March 21.
The latest comments by M.O.G Beatz who is vying for the Best Music Producer of the Year will perhaps heighten discussions about the mental wellbeing of artistes and players in the creative industry at large.
