Gachios sings Love Letter

Distant love is the subject of up-and- coming rapper, Gachios, new single  title Love Letter.

In the song, Love Letter, Gachios sings for his love interest that has travelled outside the country for three years and is rumoured to be married to a white man. Gachios sings that the lack of communication from his love is the cause of his tears and sorrows.

In Love Letter which has both Reggae/Dancehall and Hip Life versions, Gachios manages to vividly convey how lonely and despondent the continuous silence of his lover has made him. The soulful tone of the song leaves the listener in no doubt that Gachios desperately wishes to see his lover once again.

In an interview with Showbiz on Tuesday, Gachios, born Konu Stephen, described himself as a rapper, singer, songwriter and sound engineer whose primary aim is to have a huge impact on music lovers, hence the fusion of High-life, Hip-life, Hip-hop and Azonto  genres.

“Given my drive and determination, I know I will definitely come off as a successful act. I am confident and believe that my artistry will enable me gain popularity in the Ghanaian music industry as well as soar to recognition internationally,” he said.

Although Gachios is yet to achieve mainstream recognition, he has released some mix-tapes which are available on music platforms including Reverbnation, YouTube, SoundCloud, HulkShare, Facebook, Twitter and Gaslinez.com.

He has worked with artistes like Nero X,Rudebwoy Ranking, Koo Ntakra, Rashid Metal, Praye Tintin, Double, Benji and Secure.
