Real Estate TV programme goes live
A new television series known as ‘A Place Called Home’ has started making waves on TV screens since Sunday, December 15, 2013.
The 30-minute premium TV Series, which is initially showing on the Metro TV, will run from 12 noon for 13 weeks.

‘A Place Called Home’ has been instituted in direct response to the yawning gap in the booming Ghanaian property market which has lacked a deliberate, focused and sustained marketing vehicle that links buyers and sellers.
Hitherto, players in the industry often had to resort to laborious and uncoordinated efforts before making a decision to buy or sell.
The show’s hostess takes viewers through a revealing trip around featured properties across the country, detailing the relevant specifications, including locations, sizes and prices. Included in each episode is an expert advice segment where knowledgeable resource persons provide insights about a range of industry-related issues.
According to the Creative Director of Logik Media, Mr Freddy B. Apeagyei, as producers of the series, “we are committed to presenting not only a world-class TV production but also offering a range of inter-related solutions that would help drive the industry forward.
He was quoted in a press statement as saying that “a website and soon-to-be-launched 48-paged magazine, both bearing the ‘A Place Called Home’ brand name, formed part of the larger strategy of our company to take the Ghanaian property industry to the world.”
Logik Media has operated over the years from both Ghana and the United Kingdom. It is the brain behind several award-winning productions, including ‘A Home In The Sun’ (aired on UK television), ‘Footballers Lives’ (a series which featured African players in the diaspora and aired to great acclaim on television in Europe, Asia and Africa).
Their production credits include Ghana versus Nigeria – a friendly football game played in the UK a few years ago which they filmed for live broadcast.
