In a release issued this afternoon and signed by its chairman Dr Joseph Obeng and Convenor Mr Mark Badu-Aboagye, it described the three new taxes as an obnoxious, inimical and counterproductive taxes which will collapse businesses in the country.

“We are already in a toxic business environment which needs to be fixed, rather than compounding the problems with the introduction of new killer taxes,” the release stated.

The forum asserted that it would keep fighting to protect businesses in the country and improve the business environment in the country.

It called on the President to heed to the concerns of the business community and engage stakeholders for a review that will ensure a stable business environment in the country.
