Ethiopian Airlines (Ethiopian) won the Best International Airline of the year in Ghana at the Business Executive Excellence Awards in Accra.
Ethiopian emerged the winner for best performance and its great contribution to the country’s economy in general.
The Ethiopian Area Manager in Accra, Ms Genet Michael, said the airline was honoured to be recognised for its positive contribution in the airline industry in the country.
The airline has consistently provided reliable connectivity options between Accra and the rest of the world as well as within Africa.
“The Business Excellence Awards celebrates institutions that demonstrate excellence in leadership, performance and success with a significant impact to Ghana’s economic growth.
The airline has been giving uninterrupted services to Ghana for the past 55 years and is currently serving Accra daily using the state of the art Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft,” she said.
Passengers to and from Accra can enjoy the unique features of the aircraft such as wider leg room, large overhead bins, reduced noise and higher humidity.
